Checker Association has disbanded due to lack of interest."  According
to Gary Ellison and Roger Doll.  I suppose you should verify this
before we publish it.

The 2023 Illinois 101 Counties Tournament was played on October 7, in Marion, IL. We had six Illinois players and one Missouri player.  It was great to see each other and play some fun checkers. This was the last of Illinois 101 Counties usually scheduled 1st weekend in October and Illinois State Checkers Tournament was scheduled 1st weekend in April.
